THIS WEEKEND!
Denver hosts the 4th World Wellness Weekend, this Saturday and Sunday January 28-29 at The Colorado Convention Center. For two days over 90 speakers and teachers, including the legendary Deepak Chopra and best selling author T. Harv Eker, invite you to open your mind to the world of possibilities-to explore the cutting edge of health, fitness, and wellbeing. Many people from varied walks of life have come together to share what makes life work for them in the belief that it can help with health and happiness in your life as well. They include doctors and healers of all types, therapists, authors, business people, and the list goes on. They come from many divergent points of view and belief systems-western, eastern, holistic, alternative, etc., and all truly have something valid and wonderful to offer. This is our opportunity to bring our community together in a spirit of unity. Change begins at home, in each one of us and in our families. We can make this world a happier, healthier, and more peaceful place.
Yoga Day USA, Jan. 28, will be celebrated throughout the event. As part of a nationwide event sponsored by Yoga Alliance, introductory workshops will be offered that will explore a variety of yoga styles. Throughout the weekend, the yoga classes will offer free yoga mats to the first 45 attendees in each session. There are over 130 booths in the World Wellness Expo, which runs from 9:30am-6:30pm each day, along with 5 and sometimes 6 different classes every hour on the hour beginning at 10am.
The Saturday evening program with Deepak Chopra and T. Harv Eker, begins at 6 p.m. in The Lecture Hall. Both authors will be signing books immediately after their presentations. Deepak Chopra, named by Time Magazine as one of the “100 Icons of the 20th Century,” has authored almost 50 books on health, wellness, and spirituality. His latest, “Peace Is the Way,” recently won The Quill Award for non-fiction books.
T. Harv Eker’s latest best-selling book, “Secrets of The Millionaire Mind” explores the ways in which we think about money and how we can change our money “blueprint” to improve our lives both economically and emotionally.
