A NOTE ABOUT LONNY'S ACADEMIC DEGREES:
As of June, 2005, I have officially ceased using my doctorate degree because the granting institution, Columbia Pacific University, never achieved national accreditation, and has closed under questionable circumstances. (see http://www.quackwatch.com/04ConsumerEducation/News/cpu.html )
My Liberal Arts BA from Goddard College - a highly regarded small innovative school in Plainfield, VT - was in Holistic Health, a major which I inaugurated there in 1979. I was then happy to find Columbia Pacific, a similarly unique and progressive, non-residential school founded by holistic MD's in San Rafael California, and accredited by that State. My doctoral dissertation (1983) later became my first published book, Self-Actuated Healing. Although CPU closed before acquiring national certification, I have been accorded acceptance with Ph.D. credentials for over 20 years, and the degree still appears on much of my public writings online and in print. However, I am no longer claiming that I hold a doctorate. I use HHC (Holistic Health Counselor)
